The morale in the NUTD camp couldn't be better said captain Daanyaal a day before Eid as he said "The lads and I down at the club have been working our socks off as the gaffer said improvements were needed immediately, but he has been very thoughtful in giving us a three day holiday for Eid which was a major relief to rest our bodies and celebrate with our friends and families. However at the Eid special NUTD press conference the gaffer alleged that training will be harder than ever during the Christmas holidays in an effort to boost up fitness levels at the club.
He then quoted that Christmas couldn't have come sooner this year as the players have clearly had a good rest due to the three days i very kindly gave to the squad, but i don't want performance rates to slip as i expect the performance of every single player to be 3 times as much as before as i have been instructed to work them hard for the following year as the ansaar tournament is clearly in view now and we are within grasp of it if i can manage to bring out the full potential of the players, which if achieved, can easily beat the likes of mount any day.
You may be thinking at this point 'gaffer, stop acting so serious, ITS EID FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! but even at the end of that lecture he ended saying that he wishes all Muslim brothers an Eid Mubarak and also he wishes all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
